My primary goal as a teacher is to foster love of music through playing, composing, and listening. I strive to nurture well-rounded musicians by instilling a breadth of essential skills, both musical and technological. Students receive the tools necessary to thrive as self-sufficient 21st-century artists, capable of continuing their own musical growth long after lessons are complete.
For background, I'm a classical pianist trained at San Francisco Conservatory and USC Thornton School of Music; a composer with scores on HBO and Apple and classical compositions performed by Grammy-nominated ensembles; and a producer and engineer for artists with hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners.
I've been a music educator for over a decade, both as a private instructor and a classroom teacher. Students I’ve worked with have been accepted to top music schools including USC, UCLA, and U Michigan, as well as been accepted to prestigious youth music programs in Los Angeles including Sunset ChamberFest and the LA Phil Composer Fellowship!
I offer lessons in Piano, Composition, Arranging, and Production, both in-person and online. If you have any question, or wish to inquire about current rates and availability, please reach out via phone/text/email.
